Rohit brings to Amber Lion Middle East over a decade of experience in real estate development, strategic leadership, and entrepreneurial ventures across India, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Rohit founded and scaled businesses across the GCC, including retail networks, and has developed strategic real estate investments in prime locations.
Rohit is renowned as a seasoned deal-maker in some of the highest-impact real estate projects across the Middle East and India. His leadership and expertise have driven growth and innovation in the sector. Since 2015, as a Partner in Sawlani Real Estate LLC, he has been involved in the development, equity and debt financing of prime properties in Dubai (UAE), Ajman (UAE), and Maharashtra (India).
Prior to this, Rohit was active in the operation of retail outlets across the Middle East, and the development of retail real estate assets – including the flagship Factory Mall in Ajman (UAE). Earlier in his career, Rohit worked for a wholesale trading firm, and also founded and managed a dry-cleaning business in Dubai’s prestigious Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) district – which he sold for a significant return on investment back in 2014.
Rohit holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the Canadian University of Dubai and Indiana University Bloomington (US). He is fluent in English and Hindi.
